  • IRC (International Rescue Committee) https://www.rescue.org IRC works in "over 50 countries to provide rapid relief like food, water and medical care where it’s needed most, along with the critical long-term support families need to survive, recover and rebuild their lives." $400 donated on 5/1/24.

  • CARE https://www.care.org “CARE works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice. We seek a world of hope, inclusion and social justice, where poverty has been overcome and all people live with dignity and security.” $400 donated on 4/1/24.

  • STEPS to end domestic violence: https://www.stepsvt.org "Steps’ mission is to assist in the transition to a safe, independent life for all those who have been addicted physically, sexually, emotionally, or econmomically by domestic abuse and to promote a culture that fosters justice, equity and safety.”$600 was donated on 3/1/24

  • Jane Goodall Institute: https://janegoodall.org The Jane Goodall Institute continues Goodall’s mission of research, conservation, education and community support. $500 was donated on 12/31/23

  • One Tree Planted: https://onetreeplanted.org This organization helps with reforestation across the world in the places that need it most. $1100 was donated on 12/1/23.

  • World Central Kitchen: https://wck.org WCK is busy feeding people impacted by the conflict in Israel and Gaza. $1000 donated 10/30/2023

  • Humane Society of Chittenden County: https://www.hsccvt.org “We at the Humane Society of Chittenden County believe that supporting, strengthening and sustaining the bonds between people and pets improves the well-being of individuals, families and communities. Our mission is to ensure that every pet has a loving home and that every pet owner has access to the resources they need to give those pets happy, healthy lives.” We donated $400 on 10/2/23.

  • Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont (NOFA-VT) https://www.nofavt.org Farms across Vermont experienced catastrophic impacts from the July flooding. “The Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont promotes organic practices to build an economically viable, ecologically sound & socially just Vermont agricultural system that benefits all living things.” $60 was donated to the flood relief fund on 10/17/23. Funds were raised from the sale of our “After the Flood” print.

• August 2023

  • The Intervale Center https://www.intervale.org Funds raised from our Intervale Farmer Recovery Fund will go directly to participating Intervale farms, including New Farms for New Americans. Donations made directly to the Intervale Center will help with cleanup and our work to build a resilient food system that can withstand climate events both in the Intervale and across the state. Contributions will allow us to return the Intervale to a public community resource, support the farms we work with at the Intervale and across Vermont, plant trees in riparian buffer zones to mitigate floods like this, and help provide food to those experiencing food insecurity.”$80 was donated to the flood relief fund on 7/18/23

Funds were raised from our “After the Flood” original painting raffle!

  • Audubon Center for Birds of Prey https://cbop.audubon.org “The Audubon Center supports raptor rehabilitation, conservation education, youth leadership, and community science. It also supports the many raptor species that migrate beyond our borders in search of food and breeding areas. Specializing in Bald Eagles, the Center is recognized as a leading raptor rehabilitation facility treating 700 birds of prey annually releasing more than 40% back into the wild.” $700 donated on 7/3/2023

  • RAINN https://rainn.org “RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org y rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. $700 was donated on 6/2/23.

  • Equal Justice Initiative https://eji.org “The Equal Justice Initiative is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.” $900 donated on 5/2/23

  • National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center: https://www.niwrc.org “Providing national leadership to end violence against American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian women by lifting up the collective voices of grassroots advocates and offering culturally grounded resources, technical assistance and training, and policy development to strengthen tribal sovereignty.” $500 donated on 4/3/23

  • World Central Kitchen: https://wck.org WCK is busy feeding people after a huge earthquake hit Turkey and Syria. WCK’s Relief Team has established operations across Türkiye and through partners in Syria, delivering fresh meals to families displaced and emergency crews stretched thin due to the scale of the disaster. $400 donated 3/1/2023

  • Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Kenya: https://www.reteti.org “Elephant calves in Northern Kenya are orphaned or abandoned due to drought, man-made wells, human-wildlife conflict and natural mortality. The Sanctuary was established in response to demands from the local community.Reteti aims to rescue, reunite, rehabilitate and rewild orphaned and abandoned elephant calves.” We donated $400 on 12/29/22

  • Vermont Foodbank: https://www.vtfoodbank.org “As a member of Feeding America, our mission is to gather and share quality food and nurture partnerships so that no one in Vermont will go hungry. Thousands of our neighbors struggle to meet their food needs. Each year the Vermont Foodbank and our network of partners throughout the state serve as many as 153,000 Vermonters in need of emergency food assistance” We donated $1000 on 12/3/22

Our mission is to ensure that every pet has a loving home and that every pet owner has access to the resources they need to give those pets happy, healthy lives.” We donated $400 in honor of the best rescue studio dog (Max) who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma.

  • A Moth for Ukraine Raffle: We organized a raffle for an original painting and hundreds of you participated. Together we raised $3233 which was split between World Central Kitchen and Unicef on 3/16/2022.
